Youth Pastor (Rockford, Ohio)

Family Life Minister (Hillsdale, Mich.)
The Hillsdale UB Church in Hillsdale, Mich., is seeking an individual or couple for a new fulltime position. Hillsdale currently has a ministry staff of two fulltime and three part-time employees, with 400+ worshippers in two services.
Approximately half of the minister's time will be spent overseeing and developing a dynamic children's ministry. The remaining time will be used for:
- Family counseling.
- Local hospital visitation.
- Establishing a men's ministry.
Requirements: Candidates should have at least a batchelor's degree in a ministry related field, as well as a minumum of two years experience.
Salary: approximately $40,000 with benefits commensurate with background.

Pastor of Youth and Worship (Shippensburg, Pa.)
Prince Street Church of the United Brethren in Christ in Shippensburg, Pa., is a growing church of over 240. We are using two worship services (traditional and contemporary) and other ministries suited for the growth of the whole family in efforts to make disciples in our rapidly expanding state university community. We are seeking a servant leader to provide leadership in the areas of Youth and Worship Ministries.
This fulltime salaried position is directly accountable to the senior pastor and secondarily to the Administrative Board. Requirements for the chosen candidate include:
- An educational and/or experience background in Youth and Music/Worship Ministries (a degree is preferable).
- Demonstrate strengths in the areas of teamwork, flexibility, communication and innovation
- Have 3-5 years of experience (full or part time) in ministry in a congregation of greater than 200 attendees.
Approximately 65% of this person's time will be invested in the youth area, which includes:
- Creating a relationally nurturing environment for students.
- Equipping students for a growing relationship with Jesus that results in reaching their peers for Christ.
- Assisting parents in guiding their children toward becoming disciples.
- Identifying, equipping and supporting a volunteer ministry team.
- Currently, a team of 10 staff persons is ministering to over 40 students (grades 6-12).
Approximately 30% of this person's time will be invested in leading contemporary worship ministries by
- Planning and leading worship services that communicate Biblical truth in modern languages and forms.
- Preparing a volunteer worship team to facilitate worship.
- Identifying, equipping and supporting volunteers in staffing worship, nusic and technical support (sound, video projection, and video recording) Ministries.
Approximately 5% of this person's time will be invested in assisting the senior pastor in preaching and care-giving ministries during vacations and emergency situations.

Minister of Worship (Byron Center, Mich.)
Banner of Christ UB church is looking for a person to serve as Minister of Worship.
This new position will be the next staff addition for Banner, a growing church of 200+ just southwest of Grand Rapids. Position will be negotiable up to full time pending experience and ability to handle some additional responsibilities.
Banner currently has two fulltime pastors and anticipates moving to two services in the fall of 2008.
Responsibilities will include leading a team of 17 current volunteer musicians and vocalists, and working with senior pastor in worship planning. Experience in worship leading will be necessary along with ability to play a lead instrument.
Additional areas of responsibility will address areas of need as gifting and interests are indicated. Some of our current areas of growth are in children's ministry and sports outreach.
